The Ice Cut

Dudes and Dudettes, we now have attracted over a thousand comments to the “Request, trade or give permits” page. So how is anyone with extra permits going to find you??? You MUST add your contact info and write to them directly – do NOT try to converse on the thread. They are NOT going to sift thru 1,000 entries to find you. Here’s a simple how. Professor S. K. of our Hamburg Research Center scripted this handy method:

1) Open your web browser

2) Go to the page with all the trade/request/have permits stuff (

 3) Press CTRL + F

4)  Type “August 12” or whatever you are looking for (without the quotation marks)

5) You’ll get the first match on that site 6.) Navigate back and forth to see other “August 12” entries (navigation buttons are to the right of the box where you enter your search string)

You can also search for a person’s name or any other field.

Unrelated thought worth quoting: “I represent what is left of a vanishing race, and that is the pedestrian …. That I am still able to be here, I owe to a keen eye and a nimble pair of legs. But I know they’ll get me someday.” – Will Rogers
