Internet at Degnan’s

Half Dome – Yosemite Musing
If you bring your laptop to Yosemite, you can get free internet access at the Curry Village Lounge across from the Food Pavilion. If you are staying at the Ahwahnee, you’ll get it included in your $460 room. The Yosemite Lodge can get you access for a nominal fee. If you don’t have a laptop, they also have vintage terminals for a fee. These resemble 1934 teletype machines with most of the lettering on the keys worn down. In the main village, there is now a little spot to log on. Go to Degnan’s Deli. On the first floor at the end closer to the Post Office sit these terminals.

Unrelated thought worth quoting: “There’s a fog upon L.A. And my friends have lost their way. We’ll be over soon they said, now they’ve lost themselves instead. Please don’t be long; please don’t you be very long. Please don’t be long or I may be asleep.” – Blue Jay Way, the Beatles
