Old Yosemite Maps

Half Dome – Yosemite Musing

Yosemite produces a series of neat short You Tube (and website) videos. They are filmed by Steve  Bumgardner. They are called Nature Notes. I pointed out the Half Dome one some time ago. I just watch #6 about the old maps that defined the park in the early days. Give it a view <HERE>.

Now kids, get to bed early if you are reading this Sunday night. I try to write my blogs before I go to bed – for the next day’s reading. I know many log in at night to catch the early bird. I don’t have “Buy it now” offers, but I do appreciate your reading. Tomorrow is a big day. Get a good night’s sleep and get up well in time to be on your PC for the 7 am bell.  Permits will be gone for the cables in seconds!  Don’t use a wifi laptop. Try to get on a fast Broadband connection. You must get those electrons heading east real fast. And type careful – don’t be slowed down. Go go go!

Get 4 for whatever date you want. I’ll buy the extras from you at the $1.50 face value and toss in a book or Tshirt for your trouble.

Unrelated thought worth quoting: “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” – Albert Einstein

I now have all the permits I can use so my offer to give out books or Tshirts has expired. I’d be glad to post them for you to recycle to other readers (and get back your $1.50 and mailing costs).
