Half Dome – Yosemite Musing

The Sierra Club is jumping into the Hiking website game. Starting July 9, they are launching Sierra Club Trails. Their idea is for you guys to contribute your favorite routes and then others can jump in and embellish. Kinda like Wikipedia. Included will be tips for hikers, cyclists, kayakers, bird watchers, photo contests, Nature Notes, a series of interviews with naturalists and Sierra Club Outings leaders. Click <here> to check it out.  Also be sure to visit OpenRoad.tv. This is Bay Area Backroad’s star Doug McConnell’s new venture that grew into his PBS show. My stellar blog seems to be working fine on WordPress. I like it since I can add many photos. I don’t like the fact that I have to approve every comment that is submitted. Takes a lot of overhead time. But I think it is a vast improvement ove the  now defunct Yahoo 360 Blog machine.  So there you go – every minute of your free time is now spoken for! Now go hike!!
